The Cobertizo Arch or Arco del Cobertizo, is of Muslim age.
This arch was the entry to the medina or the city, and possibly it was a part of a wall that was protecting the city.
In its surrounding areas was the souk, market where the people sold agricultural and cattle products of the region.
